Translation of a foreign education document (information for foreigners)
A sworn translation of a foreign secondary school graduation certificate/higher education diploma into Polish should be prepared by:
a person entered by the Minister of Justice on the list of sworn translators (list of sworn translators on the website of the Ministry of Justice), or
a person registered as a sworn translator in a Member State of the European Union, a Member State of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) – party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area or a Member State of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), or
a consul of the Republic of Poland, competent for the country on whose territory or in whose educational system the certificate/diploma was issued, or
a diplomatic post or consular post accredited in the Republic of Poland of a country on whose territory or in whose educational system the certificate/diploma was issued, or
an entity qualified to do translations in the candidate’s country of origin.
