Everyone shall have the right to request the accessibility of the website, the mobile application or any element thereof. It shall be possible as well to request accessibility of information in alternative forms, such as reading a digitally unavailable document, describing the content of a film without an audio description, etc. The request should include the identity of the person submitting the request, an indication of which website is involved as well as the contact method. If the petitioner wishes to receive the information using an alternative form, he or she should also specify its form. The public entity should execute the request immediately but no later than within 7 days from the date of filing the request. If it is not possible to meet this deadline, the public entity shall immediately inform the petitioner when it will be possible to comply with the request however, the deadline cannot be longer than 2 months from the date of filing the request. If it is not possible to ensure digital accessibility, the public entity may suggest an alternative method of accessing this information. If the public entity refuses to comply with the request for accessibility or alternative access to information, the petitioner may lodge a complaint regarding the accessibility of the website, the mobile application or any element thereof. Once the above mentioned procedures have been exhausted, it shall be possible as well to submit an application to the Ombudsman.

Architectural accessibility

Rector’s office ul. Żeromskiego 5, Kielce

There are three entrances to the building- the main one from the west and two entrances from the east. Entrances to the building, except for the dimensions of the door, are not adjusted for people in wheelchairs  (curbs, stairs, no driveway). The door does not open automatically.

From the east side of the building, on the right on the wall there is a button installed for people in need of help and those with disabilities.

There are only corridor and rooms on the 'low’ ground floor available for people in wheelchairs.

There is a toilet meeting the dimensions requirements for people with disabilities on the ground floor. There are no elevator and no platform. There are no Braille notation as well as no contrasting markings or markings in print magnified for the blind and visually impaired. There are no sound plates for the blind. There are no anti-skid surfaces.

Collegium Medicum ul. IX Wieków Kielc 19 A, Kielce

 The building of Collegium Medicum. – Medreh D

all three buildings belonging to Collegium Medicum are connected with each other, by the use of the so-called a hyphen. Due  to this, a disabled person will enter any room of all three buildings by entering a given building through any door.

The entrance leads through the gate. There is an architectural obstacle in front of the gate (stairs in the number of 2 steps). It is possible to use  the gate the entrance so as to  avoid the level difference.

The main double-leaf entrance door leads to the building. In front of the main entrance door there are 9 step stairs to the building, there is no ramp for people with disabilities.  People with disabilities can access the building through a side entrance that leads directly to the elevator, allowing access to each floor of the building. The door leading to the lift are opened manually, without a sensor and a button. Access to the elevator door is located on the same level with the entrance gate, without any architectural obstacles. The elevator dimensions: width 90 cm. x depth 140 cm. x height 200 cm. The second main elevator, dimensions: width 100 cm. x depth 209 cm. x height 200 cm. Two elevators located in the building allow access to all corridors, halls, auditoriums, office rooms and toilets for people with disabilities. The elevators have no sounding  and no buttons in Braille. There are toilets for people with disabilities on each floor of the building. The building is not marked in Braille and has no contrasting and / or textured pavement markings. The floor has a non-slip surface. The building is not equipped with induction loops. In front of the emergency exit

there are 9 step stairs to the building, there is no ramp for disabled people. Near the main and side entrances there are two parking spaces for disabled people marked with vertical signs. The building has no room layout information system.

There are no contraindications for a blind person to enter with an assistance dog.

The building of Collegium Medicum – A & B

The entrance to the building is directly from the pavement. The main entrance is double-winged, there are no architectural barriers in front of the main entrance. The building does not have an elevator, however it is adapted for people with disabilities through an elevator located in the newly constructed building C, which was handed over as connected by corridors / passages, which allows accessibility to all office rooms and rooms located in the building on the side of Aleja IX Wieków Kielc. The toilet for people with disabilities is only on the ground floor of the building. The building is not marked in Braille and has no contrasting and textured pavement markings. The floor has no anti-slip surface. The building is not equipped with induction loops. In front of the building, there is one parking space for people with disabilities, and it is marked with a horizontal mark of with a blue envelope on the surface and a vertical mark. The building has no room layout information system. There are no contraindications for a blind person to enter with an assistance dog.

The building Collegium Medicum – C

The  entrance on the property is both through the building on the side of Aleja IX Wieków Kielc, and through the internal construction site from the side of ul. Radio (as for the Medreh-D building). The halls of building C and the building from the side of Aleja IX Wieków Kielc are connected with each other, therefore it is possible to enter from the side of Aleja IX Wieków Kielc. Entering from Aleja IX Wieków Kielc, a disabled person, in order to get to the ground floor / hall of building C, has to go through three manually operated doors (on one level) – there is no sensor and button. From the outside, there are three double-leaf main doors (one west, two east) leading to the building. There are architectural barriers in front of the west door (stairs with 2 steps), no ramp for people with disabilities. However, there are no architectural barriers in front of the second door (eastern). All the doors to the elevator inside the building are manually opened, no sensor or button.  The elevator , the dimensions of which re : width 130cm. x height 200cm. x depth 270 cm., allows you to get to every floor of the building. The building can also be accessed directly from the outside by means of a (side) lift, however, this should be reported to the facility manager in advance. Two elevators in the building allow access to all corridors, halls, office rooms and toilets for people with disabilities. The elevators have sounding system  Braille buttons. There are toilets on each floor of the building for people with disabilities. The building is not marked in Braille, it has contrasting corridor colors (each floor has a different color), and there are guiding  strips on the corridor floors. The floor has a non-slip surface. The building is not equipped with induction loops. There are no designated parking spaces for people with disabilities near the entrance. The building has no room layout information system. There are no contraindications for a blind person to enter with an assistance dog.

Branch in Sandomierz ul. Schinzla 13a, Sandomierz

The entrance to the building is not suitable for people with motor skills disabilities. The entrance door does not have automatic opening system.

The building is not accessible for people moving in wheelchairs. There is no elevator in the building. There are no toilets available in the building for people with disabilities. There are no Braille notation or sound plates for the blind. There are no contrasting or textual surface markings. There are no anti-skid surfaces in the building. There are no induction loops. Near the entrance there are no parking places for people with disabilities. Entering the building with the assisting dog is not possible.

The student campus: Dormitories

Dormitory Odyseja” –

The entrance to the building is adapted for the needs of the disabled people (there is a dive). Moreover, the dimensions of the entrance door are adapted for the people in a wheelchair. The entrance door does not open automatically.

The building is wheelchair accessible. There are 2 lifts, so it is a possibility to get any place in the building.

The lifts have the sound system. However, there are no marks written in Braille.

There is a toilet for the disabled on the ground floor.

Near the building, there are marked parking spaces for the disabled (vertical street sign).

Dormitory „Melodia”-

The entrance to the building is adapted for the needs of the disabled people (there is a dive).

The dimensions of the entrance door are adapted for the people in a wheelchair. However, the entrance door does not open automatically.

The building is wheelchair accessible. There are 2 lifts, so it is a possibility to get any place in the building.

Dormitory „Asystent”-

The entrance to the building is adapted for the needs of the disabled people (there is a dive).

The dimensions of the entrance door are adapted for the people in a wheelchair. However, the entrance door does not open automatically.

The building is wheelchair accessible There are 2 lifts, so it is a possibility to get any place in the building. There is a toilet for the disabled on the ground floor.

Dormitory „Fama”-

The entrance to the building is adapted for the needs of the disabled people (there is a dive).

The dimensions of the entrance door are adapted for the people in a wheelchair. However, the entrance door does not open automatically.

The building is wheelchair accessible. There are 2 lifts, so it is possibility get any place in the building. The lifts have the sound system. However, there are no marks written in Braille.

The entrance to the building is adapted for the needs of the disabled people (there is a dive).

The dimensions of the entrance door are adapted for the people in a wheelchair. The entrance door does not open automatically.

The building is wheelchair accessible. There is a lift, so it is possibility get any place in the building

There is a toilet for the disabled on the ground floor.

Faculty of Arts, Podklasztorna Street 11, Kielce

The building consists of three floors. The entrance to the building is situated on the south side. It is equipped with the ramp for wheelchair users. There is no lift in the building. Ground floor rooms are the only rooms  available for wheelchair users, including the toilet adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. In staircases, the first and last steps are marked with a yellow contrasting tape.You can enter all rooms with an assistance dog. In front of the building there is one parking space for people with disabilities.

Music Department, Mickiewicza Street 3, Kielce

The building consists of three floors. Two entrances from the north and south lead to the building. Stairs lead to both entrances. In the building there is no lift and no toilet for people with disabilities. All rooms can be entered with an assistance dog. In front of the building on Mickiewicza Street there are two parking spaces for people with disabilities.

Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Uniwersytecka Street 15, Kielce

It consists of four functionally connected buildings: the building of the Department of Management, the building of the Department of Economics and Finance, the building of the Institute of International Relations and Public Policies and the building of the Entrepreneurship and Business Centre. The first two buildings are connected by stepless walkways; while the other two buildings are connected by stairs and the lift adapted to the needs of  people with disabilities.

Building of the Department of Management

It is a building with three above-ground storeys.The main entrance from the south and two additional entrances lead to the building. Stairs lead to both entrances. There is the wheelchair ramp next to the stairs to the main entrance and the entrance door is adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.There is one parking space for disabled people located near the building entrance. The cloakroom is located on the left side of the  main entrance. There is the gatehouse next to the cloakroom. All floors are available for wheelchair users and moving between them is possible thanks to the lift adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. On the first floor there is a toilet adapted for people with disabilities. In the staircases, the first and last steps are marked with a yellow contrasting tape. You can enter the building and all its rooms with an assistance dog.

 The Entrepreneurship and Business Centre

It is a building with three above-ground storeys. The main entrance leads to the building on the south side, with a ramp for wheelchairs and three additional stepless entrances from the pavement. The doors are adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. The cloakroom is on the left side of the main entrance and there is a reception desk in front of it. All floors are accessible to wheelchair users, and moving between them is possible thanks to the passenger lift, which is marked with Braille. There are toilets for people with disabilities on each floor. You can enter the building and all its rooms with an assistance dog.

The Department of Economics and Finance Building

It is a building with two above-ground storeys. There are two main entrances to the building from the west and one additional entrance from the east. There are stairs to the west entrances and a wheelchair ramp on the left. The cloakroom is across from the right door and there is a reception desk next to it. The door on the west side is adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.

The Institute of International Relations and Public Policies Building

It is a building with two above-ground storeys. There are two main entrances on the eastern side and one additional entrance on the western side, stepless from the pavement. The cloakroom is in front of the left door and there is a reception desk next to it. The door on the west side is adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. The ground floor is available for wheelchair users and the second floor is accessible thanks to a link with the building of the Management Department. On the eastern side of the building there is one parking space for people with disabilities.

The demolition of the building in question is planned.

Faculty of Education and Psychology

The building consists of two wings  :  wing A pararell to Krakowska street and  wing B perpendicular to Krakowska street. Two entrances lead to the building . The main entrance is accessed by  the stairs from Krakowska street and the stepless entrance from the north part of the wing A at the  pavement level. The cloakroom is to the right of this entry.

There are toilets for people with disabilities on all floors of  wing A ( two floors) and on all tiers of  wing B ( three floors). In the building there are also two passenger lifts with Braille signage. What is more, it is possible to cover the stairs between  wing A and B  by the staircase platform which is placed on the first floor. An indication of the circulation area  is present in all corridors. Moreover, all entrances are marked in contrasting colours . In staircases  the first and the last step is  marked with a yellow, contrasting tape. It is possible to enter all   rooms with an assistance dog. All rooms are available for wheelchair users. In front of the building there are two parking places for people with disabilities.

Artistic Education Centre, Krakowska street 11, Kielce

It is located between the wings of the main building A and B. The building consists of two ground-based tiers. Two entrances ( southern and northern) lead to the building.

One of them is stepless at the pavement level ( southern), the other has a ramp for wheelchairs. In the building there is a passenger lift with Braille signage.  On the ground floor a toilet for people with disabilities is available. It is possible to enter all  rooms with an assistance dog.

Faculty of Natural Science, Uniwersytecka street 7, G building

The main entrance leads to the building with stairs and a ramp for wheelchairs. Entrance doors are adopted to the needs of people with disabilities. The reception is located at the entrance to the building. Near the reception there is an information board with a sketch of the faculty buildings and an indication     “ You are here”. The building is available to the wheelchair users thanks  to ramps and lifts. The toilets for disabled people are located on each floor. Near the building there are two parking places for people with disabilities. In the building there is no Braille signage or contrasting marking. It is possible to enter all  rooms with an assistance dog.

Faculty of Natural Science, A building, Uniwersytecka street 7, Kielce

One entrance from the west leads to this building. It is adjusted to the needs of the people with motor disabilities. The building has three fire exits ( southern, northern, western side). All fire exits are marked with pictograms. The entrance and the fire exits from western and northern side are adopted to people with disabilities. The stairs  limit the southern exit. The entrance and fire exit are equipped with a door with a width enabling the passage of the wheelchair. The door does not have an automatic opening system. Four lifts and two staircase platforms facilitate wheelchair users to get to any room in the building. There is no sounding or Braille signage in the building. In staircases  the first and the last step is  marked with a yellow, contrasting tape. In the building there are two toilets for  disabled people.  In front of the building there are two parking places for people with disabilities. It is possible to enter all  rooms with an assistance dog.

Faculty of Humanities Uniwersytecka 17, Kielce.

It consists of two functionally connected buildings: the Center of Foreign Languages and the Center for Media Communication and Scientific Information. The buildings are connected by stepless passages on the first three ground floors, in each of the two wings. There are a total of six passages between the buildings.

Building of the Foreign Language Center

It is a building with three above-ground floors. The main entrance from the north and an additional entrance from the west side of the building lead to the building. Stairs lead to both entrances. At the stairs to the main entrance, there is a ramp for trolleys and wheelchairs. The entrance door is adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. Near the building, there are three parking spaces for people with disabilities. The cloakroom is on the right side of the main entrance, next to it there is a reception desk. All floors are available for people in wheelchairs, and moving between them is possible thanks to a passenger lift. The passenger lift is marked with Braille and is equipped with a voice information system. On each floor, in the northern part, there are toilets for people with disabilities. One can enter the building and all its rooms with an assistance dog. The building is equipped with the Milestone 312 electronic audio system for the blind and partially sighted.

Building of the Media Communication and Scientific Information Center

It is a building with four above-ground floors. The building is accessed by the main entrance on the east side (stepless from the pavement level) and an additional entrance on the south side, accessed by stairs and a wheelchair ramp. The cloakroom is located in front of the entrance on the south side, while the reception and concierge service is provided by the concierge in the building of the Foreign Language Center. The entrance door is adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. There are two parking spaces for disabled people near the building. All floors are accessible to wheelchair users, and moving between them is possible thanks to a passenger lift with Braille markings and a voice information system. On each floor there are toilets for people with disabilities. One can enter the building and all its rooms with an assistance dog.

University Sports Center Uniwersytecka 21, Kielce.

It is a two-floor building. There are two main entrances on the south side and an additional entrance on the north side of the building. There is a wheelchair ramp next to the stairs to the main entrance. Entrance doors that open automatically are adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. There are two parking spaces for people with disabilities near the entrance. The cloakroom and concierge are on the left side of the main entrance. All floors are accessible for wheelchair users, and moving between them is possible thanks to the platform for people with disabilities. There are two toilets in the building adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. All rooms can be entered with an assistance dog.
