Possessing the professional degree of Master of Science, Master of Engineering, or equivalent, until completion of a doctorate.

- has the ability to analyse data and conduct research under supervision;
- has the ability to critically analyse research results, evaluate and formulate, new and complex ideas;
- is able to handle a discussion among researchers, explain research results (and present their value for the development of the discipline);
- has the ambition of developing knowledge and methodology in the represented discipline
