In accordance with Ordinance No. 57/2014 of the Rector of the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce dated 12 September 2014 on the Electronic Employee Card, employees of the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce may be issued an Electronic Employee Card (EKP) for the duration of their employment relationship.
The EKP may be used for:
- confirmation of employment at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce;
- visual identification of employees;
- access to university parking areas;
- access to the University Library resources;
- access to university printing center functions;
- the EKP may also serve as the Kielce Municipal Transport Card (ZTM Kielce).
The Electronic Employee Card cooperates with the following machines:

After registering the EKP as a library card at the University Library, it can be used with the self-service borrowing station.
Books available in the so-called “open access” section can be borrowed and returned using the machine, where the cardholder authenticates using the EKP card.

The EKP may be used as the Kielce Municipal Transport Card (ZTM Kielce).
The EKP must be registered by visiting any ZTM service point in Kielce — complete the form and make a top-up payment for the card.
Sales points are listed at http://ztm.kielce.pl. The EKP is a personalized transport card (KKM).

Once the EKP has been registered as a Kielce Municipal Transport Card and topped up with cash at the Kielce Road Authority (MZD) located at 14 Kościuszki Street, in the Paid Parking Zone Department,
it can be used to make parking payments at parking meters in the city of Kielce.
