Recruitment step by step

Visit the official UJK admission portal: rekrutacja.ujk.edu.pl
There you will find:

• a list of first-cycle (Bachelor’s) and long-cycle Master’s programmes,
• admission requirements (e.g. which secondary school subjects are considered),
• qualification criteria for each programme can be found here (Annex No. 1 to Senate Resolution No. 74/2025),
• a link to the Matura exam calculator.

Admission deadlines change every year.
The official schedule is published here: UJK Admission Schedule
The schedule includes:

• the start and end dates of registration in the system,
• the deadline for the admission fee payment,
• dates of entrance examinations (if required),
• publication of qualification lists,
• deadlines for submitting documents and reserve lists,
• supplementary admission rounds.

Create an account in the Internet Admission Registration System (IRK) on the UJK website.
Provide your personal data (including PESEL number, email address – this will be your login).
Choose your field of study.
Enter your Matura exam results as soon as they are available.

Each programme requires payment of an admission fee (the amount is specified in the IRK system).
Keep the proof of payment — the system may require confirmation.

The most commonly required documents are:

• secondary school leaving certificate (original or copy),
• identity card (for verification),
• electronic photo (in accordance with IRK requirements),
• for certain programmes – additional medical certificates or documents.

Some programmes require additional entrance exams (e.g. artistic, physical fitness, or interview).
Detailed information about the exams is available in the admission regulations.

On the day of results publication (according to the schedule), the IRK system will display whether you have been qualified for admission.
If you are qualified — you must confirm your intention to study by submitting the required documents within the deadline specified in the schedule.

Submit them at the designated place and within the specified time. This information will be provided in a message in your IRK account.
Failure to submit documents on time = resignation from the study place.

If you were not admitted to your chosen programme in the first round, you may take part in the supplementary admission.
